Dr. Di Concetto grew up in Italy, where he obtained his DVM in 1996. He then moved to the United Kingdom, where he completed a Master of Science in wild animal health and an Internship in small animal anesthesiology at the Royal Veterinary College in London.

After working as a zoo veterinarian and as a clinical anesthesiologist in private practice and academia in Europe, he moved to the United States in 2007 to complete his residency training and became a board-certified specialist in veterinary anesthesia and pain management in 2012.

Before joining LAASER in 2023, Dr. Di Concetto was assistant professor of anesthesiology and worked as a lecturer and clinician in several veterinary teaching hospitals in the United States.

His main goal is to optimize the anesthetic and analgesic management of patients undergoing major surgical and interventional procedures by using balanced anesthetic protocols and incorporating advanced analgesic techniques like ultrasound-guided nerve blocks.

Dr. Di Concetto is an outdoor enthusiast and in his spare time he likes to takes hiking trips to national parks and protected areas, locally and abroad. He is actively involved in environmental restoration and conservation.
