Samantha is a Southern California native and graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in English Literature. Although her degree is in English, her love of all animals led her to work in the many fields that encompass companion animals. As a teen, she volunteered her time in animal shelters and fostered puppies, kittens, and animals that were neglected and needed some additional TLC. This experience led her to work in Retail, Rescue, Boarding, and Daycare. Ultimately, she found her calling with Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys the challenge of an ever-changing field and seeks to be at the forefront of innovation. Her favorite part of leadership is growing and investing in her team. She believes that Veterinary Hospitals should be part of their community, and strives to create strong bonds between the team and their patients and pet parents.
Samantha has three dogs: Latte, a Miniature Pinscher; Maya, a Pit Bull Mix; and Lemmy, a French Bulldog. They range from 5 to 15 years and frequently go on vacation with Samantha and her Husband. Yes, all three! When she isn’t in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, wine tasting, and listening to live music.
