Caitlin Clissold

RVT, CCRP, cSAMP

Caitlin became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the year 2000 after receiving her Associates of Applied Science at Portland Community College. For the next several years she worked in practices in both Oregon and Washington focusing on administering/monitoring anesthetic protocols and surgical nursing. Watching her own dog Jonesy age, Caitlin developed an interest in pain management and maintaining functional movement. In 2013 she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) from the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine. This was followed by a certification in Small Animal Massage Therapy(cSAMP) from the Northwest School of Animal Massage in 2016. Caitlin is most interested in reducing pain and increasing mobility in senior pets, patients with neurologic impairment and post-surgical patients. Before relocating to Los Angeles to help open the rehabilitation and integrative medicine department at LAASER, Caitlin spent two years refining her skills working for and learning from the Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Integrative Medicine specialists at The Animal Medical Center in New York City.

Caitlin sees patients for physical rehabilitation and manual therapies/massage Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 5:00.
