Dr. Hare is originally from Edinburgh, Scotland! She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 2014. As part of her training, she also completed an intercalated program at the University of Bristol, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behavior and Welfare.

After graduation, Dr. Hare spent several years in primary care practice in England and Northern California before transitioning into emergency and specialty medicine. She completed a rotating internship at IronHorse VetCare in Dublin, California, followed by a year practicing emergency medicine.

Dr. Hare went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University in August 2024.

Her clinical interests include all areas of internal medicine and emergency medicine, with a particular interest in immune-mediated and renal disease.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Hare enjoys spending time with her pets, traveling all over the world and fitness training!
